Drill Name: “L” Load
Description: Use this softball hitting drill to engage muscles all through the body to fire up and explode into the swing.
Over-exaggerate the load by sitting deeper in the legs and shifting weight back farther; stay balanced on the back side by making an “L” with the front foot firing up the back side to push off.
Hands stay high.
Keep the core engaged during the soft front foot stride and plant, focusing on balance.
Then, explode into the swing.
